From Maxi 95
Welcome to the Maxi 95 - wiki
Maxi 95 is a spacious family boat with sleeping space for seven. In the boat there is space enough to fit in a forepeak, cockpit and an aft cockpit.
The Swedish Maritime Administration approved the boat back in 1977 (boat 555). The approval is mainly a safety issue.
From the day it was showed (the floating Gothenburg fair in 1973), an amount of approximately 1 400 boats has been made. Most of these boats are in Scandinavia, but you can find a Maxi 95 all over the world see the (boats registered on this site).
Why a wiki
This page was originally created as a page updated by only one person, this hampered the development of the site due to lack of time. There are so many good writers out there, so a decision was made to turn this site into a wiki and invite anyone in the Maxi 95 community to participate to contribute to the content of the site.
